What to make of the Geva family? It's really complicated. This funny, sometimes-abrasive comedy takes us on a ride like trying to drive a stick shift car up a hill! There is a controlling dad (a plastic surgeon), his wife, and two adult children. The mom is a super-fit, half-marathon runner. The docile son (also a plastic surgeon) is engaged to a mouthy private detective who drinks too much. The daughter, who teaches Arabic, uses her favorite romantic films as a teaching aid. Included, too, is a wheel-chair-using gym teacher, and a gorgeous driving instructor who moonlights as a yoga teacher. And, oh yes, there is also a sensitive belly dancer.
