Depicts the struggle and views of six seminal punk rockers who survived and transcended the corporate machinery that would try to suppress their unique vision of society and attempts at voicing it. Featuring in-depth interviews and archival footage - much of it never before seen - the film uncovers the murk and the mirth that sparked the punk movement. The film relates, through the eyes of these scene veterans, how punk originated in the U.S., why they themselves chose this route, their influences and why they feel the movement evolved into the major, cultural influence it is today.
