In a public display of their marvelous family life, Margot and Michel film their every moment and place it on the Web. But reality is far less charming than these images. Fourteen-year-old Nat prefers to distance herself from Michel, her stepfather, and spends most of her time locked in her room, chatting. Her two Web-friends are an adolescent in the midst of a lengthy hospital quarantine, and a grown man experiencing emotional and behavioral regression. Even her biological father, with whom she would rather be living, remains only a virtual contact. A real meeting between several of the characters is bound to occur, and that event is to have serious consequences on Nat's life.
