Across the Sea

A Turkish immigrant estranged from her homeland, Damla lives in New York City with her American husband Kevin, expecting their first child. Devastated to discover that her cousin is selling their childhood home, Damla and Kevin return to Turkey where Damla seeks to reconcile with Burak, her best friend and first love. Despite her abrupt departure eight years earlier, Damla must confront Burak with a secret she has kept for years.
