Allah n'est pas obligé

Allah n'est pas obligé follows the journey of Birahima, a ten-year-old Guinean orphan, who with a touch of irony, shares how he was suddenly dragged into a war while trying to reunite with his aunt in Liberia. A shady character named Yacouba persuades him to become a child soldier, and in the midst of the conflict, Birahima also takes on roles as a grigriman and a sorcerer. Caught between opposing forces, he matures rapidly and becomes skeptical of the tales spun around him.
