When the wealthy Oliver Warbucks invites an orphan to spend Christmas with him, young Annie is happy to escape mean Miss Hannigan and experience life. It's not long before Mr. Warbucks decides to adopt Annie. But though Annie loves Mr. Warbucks, she still believes her parents are alive. Eager to help, Mr. Warbucks launches a nationwide search for Annie's parents that unfortunately only attracts scammers. The truth comes out just in time, and Annie begins a new life with 'Daddy' Warbucks.
