Backwater

Cass and Mark take a road trip to the remote countryside for a weekend of camping. They enjoy the feeling of being alone, with no sign of anyone else for miles. All feels peaceful at first, until they are interrupted by an ominous scream from down the river. When they decide to venture into the woods to investigate, they each separately run into two characters: Glenn, a lone fisher who claims he is the accidental culprit behind the scream, and Helm, a shifty deputy who seems to be overly cautious.

Despite being told that everything is normal, neither Mark nor Cass can shake the feeling that someone is watching them... or planning something.

The truth, however, is far more disturbing than meets the eye.
