Bataille Royale

Forty-two ninth graders from a Japanese high school are sent to a deserted island, each given a random weapon, map, food, water, and an explosive collar. Forced by law into a battle royale, they have three days to kill each other until one survives, or all die if more than one remains. Some like the psychotic Kiriyama and hyper-sexual Mistuko embrace the violence, while others such as Shuya, Noriko, and Kawada seek escape without fighting. As deaths rise, survival grows uncertain.
