Between Goodbyes

Mieke, an adoptee raised in the Netherlands, experiences a life divergent from what she might have known had her Korean family not faced pressures to relinquish her as an infant. Upon being located by her birth parents in adulthood, their reunion evokes a complex mix of emotions including guilt, joy, regret, and ambivalence.
