In the aftermath of the deadly gas attacks by the Aum Shinrikyo cult on Tokyo's subway, twelve-year-old Koichi, raised in the cult's violent dogma that shattered his identity, finds himself abandoned by his mother and separated from his sister when the group disbands. Desperate to reunite his family, he escapes the child welfare system and heads to Tokyo, where he meets Yuki, a girl fleeing her abusive father. Together, they journey to find his sister, navigating the perils of life without adult protection. Though their past scars spark conflict, their shared struggles forge a deep familial bond, empowering them to face their histories and futures.
