Marc, a provincial conceited insurance broker, hires a hit man in order to kill his unfaithful, domineering wife Mathilde... In the course of one night, the small time gangster shows Marc the ropes especially by teaching him how to successfully rob a jewellery store. The loot of the robbery will be used to pay for his wife's murder.
