Civil Warriors

CIVIL WARRIORS tells the true story of 26 black men from Ithaca who enlisted in the US Colored Troops and fought in the Civil War. CIVIL WARRIORS is not a reenactment, but rather brings the story alive in a dramatic spoken word format, as each of six actors performs in period dress, their words interwoven with historical images and contemporary commentary.
