An Arab family, made up of Amal, Omar and their son Ahmad, lives a peaceful life in Germany until the day when a man named Franz attacks and insults Amal because she wears the veil. Legal proceedings are initiated against the man and, during the hearings, an unfortunate event completely changes the family's life.
