Thibault, Isabelle, and their son Jeremie board their sailboat Joshua to sail the world and embrace a new life, venturing into the Gulf of Aden patrolled by Somali pirates. While stopping in Djibouti, the joyful family encounters Mike, a black they know nothing about yet instinctively trust, and invites him aboard as the quartet sails onward.
