Gabo, The Creation of Gabriel Garcia Marquez' is a story about the incredible power of human imagination, which follows the interwoven threads of Gabriel Garcia Márquez's life and work -- "Gabo" to all of Latin America. It opens with the River Magdalena, which became a metaphor for memory and creativity for Márquez, and recalls Márquez's Nobel speech: "We inventors of fables who believe in everything, feel the right to believe it is not too late to create a different utopia. A new and imposing utopia of life where no one decides for others how to die and where the races condemned to 100 years of solitude have at last and forever a second opportunity on earth.
