'Brauhaus' chronicles the generational differences that lead two elderly German immigrants to close a thriving neighborhood institution after 52 years of business, despite the interest of their sons to keep it operating. Part family portrait, part historical retrospective, the film paints a picture of a family at odds over the fate of a beloved gathering place, gone too soon.
