Giant - The Play

In the summer of 1983, world-famous children's author Roald Dahl (John Lithgow) faces mounting outrage over his explicitly antisemitic review of "God Cried," a book about the West Beirut siege during the 1982 Lebanon War. As his new novel, "The Witches," nears publication, Dahl must decide whether to issue a public apology or defend his words and risk his reputation. Over a single afternoon at his family home, an explosive confrontation forces him to confront the difference between considered opinion and dangerous rhetoric.
