Guarding Tess

Ambitious Secret Service agent Doug Chesnic (Nicolas Cage) yearns for a White House post but remains assigned to former first lady Tess Carlisle (Shirley MacLaine) in Ohio after she requests his service. Following her husband’s death in office, Tess retires to her hometown and battles wills with Doug, who leads her detail yet endures her unpredictable demands and trivial tasks instead of action, prompting his rebellion.
