A traumatized horror author (Ellie Church) is pressured into completing a trilogy, but is only able to do so with the help of a mysterious muse (Alyss Winkler) who visits her during a writing retreat. The two develop a romantic relationship, but when the muse's true motives come to light, the author learns she may not reach "The End" alive.
