Gypsy (Sara Rue), a 20-something outcast in small-town Ohio, believes her mother chose a singing career over their family. When her fellow goth friend Clive (Kett Turton) discovers New York City's Night of 1,000 Stevies tribute to her idol, Stevie Nicks, they hit the road hoping to perform and enter the city's music scene. As they confront painful pasts and obstacles along the way, they must find their strengths and learn self-acceptance.
