19-year old Ari has a completely different set of values from his Greek immigrant family. He despises conventions, disdains the status quo, and he is gay. Suffocated by family expectations and cultural traditions, the only refuge for the alienated youth is his infrequent excursions to the city, the only place where his appetite for men and dope can be sated.
