In the 80s, banker Frans J. Afman was instrumental in bringing films such as Platoon, The Terminator and Dances with Wolves to the big screen. Disagreements forced him out of the business and shortly after drove the studio to bankruptcy. Told through the lens of his daughter, the documentary tells the story of the man's influence in independent film and in the lives of the people closest to him.
