Homles

Isolated from the world by his Jehovah's Witness parents, then abruptly cast out as a young adult, Steeve still lives on the streets today. This unconventional barber lives and works out of his van, HOMLES, parked here and there across Montreal and its surroundings, sometimes legally, sometimes not. His clients and friends gather around him, forming a community in his image of musicians, skaters, punks and other misfits. Amid a daily life of freedom and wandering, misfortune and gratitude, this fiercely independent nonconformist confronts resilience and his quest as a former religious sect member, navigating uprooting, rupture and nomadism.
