Hommes à louer

A documentary about Montreal's male prostitution industry sent shock waves through the media, as well as the Quebec documentary establishment. The director and his crew, which included social workers, set up a small studio in the Centre-Sud neighbourhood, where young male prostitutes (many of whom were drug addicts) visited at their leisure to tell their harrowing stories about life on the streets. Filled with painful testimonies, "Men for Sale" forces views to confront an aspect of the human condition from which many would wish to turn away.
