Iwashigumo

A war widow raises her young son while managing a farm alongside her domineering mother-in-law. A reporter arrives for an interview, sparking an affair between them, but he proves to be married and refuses to leave his wife. Meanwhile, her older brother schemes to marry off his children and secure or expand his farm through a strategic union, contending with looming land confiscation and his offspring's yearning for easy city jobs over the grueling labor of paddy fields under strict parental oversight.
