Law student Ike (Glynn Turman) enjoys a night on the town with friends until a nightclub hypnosis act leaves him possessed by the spirit of a violent gangster murdered on Bourbon Street in 1942. Believing himself the reincarnation of the murderous J.D., Ike launches a revenge campaign against those who wronged him decades earlier.
