Detective Dooley (James Belushi) and his furry partner, Jerry Lee, learn that maybe you can teach an old dog new tricks in the comedy caper K-911. Dooley and Lee's latest escapade finds them reluctantly working with a younger K-9 team: a beautiful and dedicated cop known as Welles (Christine Tucci) and her highly disciplined Doberman, Zeus. But when a mysterious gunman takes aim at Dooley, the foursome makes it their mission to bring down the bad guy.
