After spending a year shooting a film overseas, Manu (Emmanuel Schwartz), a 39-year-old actor who used to be a big name, heads back to his hometown. He's eager to get back into the acting game, but fitting back into the scene isn't as straightforward as he'd hoped. No one's holding a spot for him. Following a string of failed auditions, he's starting to doubt everything. He left a woman behind in Poland and feels completely unmoored here. Surprisingly, he snags a gig hosting a late-night call-in show on a community radio station. His audience is mostly immigrants, refugees, and exiles from all walks of life, working night shifts. Little by little, Manu pours himself into this platform—this melting pot of voices—using it to toss out the philosophical questions that haunt him into the darkness. His insights resonate so deeply that he becomes a lifeline for many. The show gives him purpose, and he finally feels like he's making a difference. His life gains fresh meaning. But a tragic event forces him into a gut-wrenching decision, driven only by his own sense of right and wrong and the power of human connection.
