At the onset of World War II, President Roosevelt's executive order uprooted the lives of 120,000 Japanese Americans, forcing them into internment camps. This story traces the journeys of two families torn from their homes and placed in the harsh prison camps of the American West. Despite losing everything, they strive to maintain their dignity while their loved ones face battles on the European front.
