Two talented slacker brothers, Tim (Tim Scarne) and Thom (Thomas Ian Nicholas) live in a small town trailer park and have a dream of becoming world famous club DJs. So they devise a strategy to host a world party from their big gig in town, the Goldfield high school dance, using the internet to broadcast their DJ set live. Unfortunately, only four people sign up. When their Uncle Marty (Paul Wilson) is hospitalized, they get an opportunity to go to L.A. Reluctantly they go with their best friend Larry (Caleb Moody), who has a car. While in L.A., Tim discovers a DJ spin off, but first they have to do a gig for their Uncle. They grab a drink at the bar and meet a couple of hotties. Once they finally make it to the party they are surprised to find out that it's a Bat-Mitzvah, not that they have the slightest clue what that even is. In a race against time and stupidity, they learn that their relationship is more important than anything.
