Andy (Rooney) frantically juggles girlfriends while raising the last payment for a used car before the country club Christmas dance. He wants to take Polly (Ann Rutherford), but she plans to spend the holiday with her grandmother, so he agrees to escort Cynthia (Turner) to discourage other suitors.
