L'épreuve de force

Phoenix cop Ben Shockley is assigned to escort belligerent prostitute Gus Mally from Las Vegas to Phoenix to testify against a high-placed figure with mob ties. Their transport is bombed and Mally's house is shot apart as betting odds rise against their arrival. Shockley and Mally (Sondra Locke) uncover betrayals among those they trust and survive ambushes by police, bikers, helicopters and gunmen before reaching Phoenix in an armored bus under heavy fire.
