Patrick Damien may have left to pursue his dreams of a career in movies, but he'll always be an "Armagh boy." Everybody knows him in the village, in the Bellechasse region. And just about everybody loves a good demolition derby. There's David, Patrick's childhood buddy, his brother Stéphane and the neighbour boy, 16-year-old Christopher, who's getting ready for his first race helping his cousin Marika, 18. As everyone helps out, repairing and souping up the cars, and memories of Christopher's late father come to the fore, everyone's scars open up.
