    In 1985, Joe Simpson and Simon Yates climbed the 21,000 feet Siula Grande mountain in the Peruvian Andes the only mountain in the Peruvian range that hadn't yet been conquered. During their descent, however, they had an accident, and at one point Yates was forced to make a tough decision to cut Simpson's line in order to prevent them from both falling to their deaths...
