Le Testament d'Orphée

The 70-year-old Cocteau plays himself (and is self-mockingly playful) as a time-travelling, death-defying poet who has a series of extraordinary encounters with mythological figures, characters from his previous films, and old friends as he journeys through an otherworldly landscape.
