Retired architect, Shauna (Fanny Ardant) crosses paths with Pierre (Melvil Poupaud), a happily married doctor who she first met briefly 15 years prior. Surprised by their immediate attraction to each other, Shauna and Pierre begin an affair. While Pierre's family life is turned upside down, Shauna struggles with feelings she never knew she had.
