Les neiges du Kilimandjaro

While on a hunting expedition in the African mountains with his devoted companion, a disillusioned writer suffers a grave wound that leaves him with mere hours to live. As death looms, he confronts his regrets: once dreaming of crafting the Great American Novel, he instead churned out profitable but shallow works, finding true purpose only in fighting for the Loyalists in Spain. He also grapples with the mystery of his failed romance with his late wife. Miraculously surviving, he vows to create something of enduring value.
