Les Vikings

Vikings sail from Newfoundland to Baghdad across raging seas and swift rivers, extending trade and prosperity through voyages of creative destruction before vanishing by 1100. A 200-man army invades Northumbria, slaying its leader and installing sadistic King Aella (Frank Thring) on the throne. His pregnant queen flees with their child, who grows into a young slave (Tony Curtis) in a Viking village. He clashes with his unknown brother, future heir Kirk Douglas, in a duel and survives a pit of giant crabs once his identity emerges. A new raid frees Princess Morgana (Janet Leigh), intensifying their hatred as they compete for the throne in northern England.
