This shockumentary on third world mysticism and primitive occult practices has the distinction of being the only film that made John Waters sick. A condescending narrator takes us through explicit exorcisms, fertility rites, blood toasts, psychic surgeries, livestock fondlings and more, with a breathless sensibility that lay uncomfortably between anthropologist and carnival barker.
