Monkey Shines

Athletic law student Allan Mann is running when a dog attacks him, causing him to be hit by a truck and left quadriplegic. His home is adapted with a nurse's help, but despair drives him to attempt suicide. His scientist friend Geoffrey Fisher, experimenting with monkeys, enlists trainer Melanie Parker to prepare his top monkey, Ella, for Allan. Once delivered, Ella transforms Allan's life for the better, until Geoffrey's secret injections forge a perilous mental bond, fueling Ella's rage to eliminate those Allan resents.
