In the 1970s, Kemal, heir to one of Istanbul's wealthiest families, embarks on an enduring, tempestuous romance with his poor and distant young relation Füsun after a chance encounter. Willing to defy the world for his love, he obsessively collects her earrings, hairclips, and even discarded cigarette butts as cherished tokens.
