Neil Simon's Seems Like Old Times

Wrongfully accused of a bank robbery, writer Nick Gardenia (Chevy) seeks help from his ex-wife Glenda (Goldie) after two crooks kidnap him from his oceanside retreat and force him to participate in the crime. She takes him in because she cannot resist strays and her house is packed with stray dogs, even though she is now married to an uptight district attorney (Charles Grodin) who is the soon-to-be Attorney General of California. Nick keeps popping up in unexpected places.
