After serving a five year jail sentence, father Dennis Hopper finds his daughter (Linda Manz) has grown into a rebellious punk, having barely been looked after by her junkie mom (Sharron Farrell). Hopes of once again becoming a "normal" family are shattered as the film barrels towards its devastating conclusion.
