In 1987, before the widespread use of the internet, Conor and his dog Sandy lead a secluded life, immersed in the world of early Macintosh computers and late-night horror movie marathons on television. Their routine shifts when Conor starts playing OBEX, a newly released and enigmatic computer game. As he delves deeper into the game, Conor becomes ensnared in a challenging, analog environment where the boundaries between the game and reality begin to dissolve.
