On a cold winter afternoon, António and Jota return from the front with their friends and set out to find an ancient Roman thermal bath that has reemerged after decades submerged in a reservoir. While wading through swamps, they joke and relive past tactical glories as crowds of all ages gather to explore the unexpected discovery. Yet the mysterious waters stir something deeper, emboldening the men to voice long-hidden truths. As daylight fades into night, they finally confess their deepest feelings and their profound fear of losing their best friend forever.
