Following an invasion by an unidentified plant from outer space, Rita becomes trapped in a time loop, reliving the same day repeatedly. With every cycle, she learns and fights, her accumulated memories and experiences honing her skills and transforming her into a formidable warrior. Still, the relentless loop of death and isolation starts to erode her resolve. Then she encounters Keiji, who reveals, "I've been repeating this day too."
