Elderly sleuth Miss Marple (Academy Award winner Margaret Rutherford) dares the high seas aboard a naval training ship when a fellow board member of an organization that mentors troubled juveniles is found dead. Authorities rule the death natural causes but the spinster sleuth suspects otherwise and discovers a finishing school for young thieves along with entirely too many suspects as she works to identify the murderer before he strikes again.
