Bernard Frédéric makes his living as Claude François the hit singer from the seventies serving as the top impersonator of his generation who sings and dances with four Bernadettes just as Cloclo did with his Clodettes. His drive to win the contest at La Cérémonie des Sosies shown in prime time on a major channel meets resistance from his wife Vero. Pulled between his longing for glory and his true love for her while caught between Claude François and Vero he must decide.
