Puntos de fuga

Over seven decades, two women recount their childhoods in Colombia and their immigration to Canada, their personal memories intersecting with key moments in Colombian history. Through mirrors, labyrinths, dreams, and nightmares, their stories explore the entanglement of personal experience and official history, the complexities of diasporic identity, and the shifting reliability of memory and perspective. Shot on Super 8mm, Hi8, and digital formats, with expressionistic sound design, their recollections form a layered portrait of the past.
