Requiem for the Dead: American Spring 2014

In the spring of 2014, the U.S. was jolted by a wave of mass shootings -- in Santa Barbara, Seattle, Las Vegas, Portland, and beyond -- that captured media headlines. But during that same time, more than 8,000 other men, women and children also lost their lives to guns in a dizzying variety of tragic accidents. Directed and produced by Emmy(R)-winners Shari Cookson and Nick Doob, this moving film reveals eight of these stories using existing media to expose the pervasiveness of gun violence in America.
